Introduction

PAINTING – SCULPTURE

As a painter and sculptor, I enjoy capturing the complexity of human emotions and highlighting human vulnerability.

I don’t just create a face or a person; I try to convey what is going on inside that person. I explore their psyche, their hidden side, their flaws.

It is about exploring our fragility and therefore our humanity. It is through the cracks that beauty and strength emerge. Each break reveals a part of ourselves.

Deconstructing in order to rebuild. Filling the void. Capturing sensations, the splendor of humanity, but also its decay.

My work also reflects the place that humans occupy in society, in relation to others.

Everything is ambiguous, contradictory, uncertain.

Each work is created to touch the viewer, with their own projections and sensations

I use acrylic for my paintings

My sculptures are mainly made of terracotta, sometimes patinated, painted, or “encased” in Plexiglas. I also use plaster. I sometimes combine several materials (leather, iron, copper, stone, fabric, rope, etc.).

It’s very intuitive and spontaneous. Raw.
